Uppercase Creative was founded in 2010 by Jarom Scott. Jarom got his start in the commercial arts in grade 8 when his illustration won the prestigious yearbook cover competition at Alexandra Middle School in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Fresh off his middle school victory, Jarom entered high school and was largely forgotten until one day, he designed the logo for the warm-up jerseys of the Senior Boys Basketball Team at Medicine Hat High School. After grade 10, Jarom left MHHS fame and travelled northward to Bev Facey Community High School in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Jarom built up his artistic reputation among new peers by doodling feverishly in his textbook margins and trying hard to impress his art teacher, Mrs. Lundin. After high school, Jarom spent most of his father's savings at the University of Alberta on a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Art) and a BDES (Bachelor of Design) degree. Since graduating from university, Jarom has worked as a Media Arts Coordinator for Learning Through the Arts in Edmonton, a Pre-press Manager/Graphic Designer at Warwick Printing in Lethbridge and currently as Director of Brand Development at Tourism Lethbridge.
